If products are in stock they are normally dispatched within 24 hours of receiving the order and should arrive within 5 business days. If a product is not in stock our customer service staff will call you with an estimated delivery time for those products. Theses products may then be back ordered or cancelled as you require.
Our shipping and processing charges cover the expenses of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase, delivering them to you, as well as related overhead and other items.
We use Australia post for all deliveries within Australia (except furniture) because of their reliability and ability to deliver to post office boxes. If you are not at home when goods are delivered Australia post will leave a card so goods may be collected at a specified post office, with proper identification, at your convenience.
Large or heavy items like furniture may incur extra charges and customer service will call to notify you of this cost before shipment.
Export orders outside Australia will have the GST of 10% deducted from the purchase price. Customer service will phone, email or fax you with a quote for overseas export delivery charges. Overseas deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes, and may be affected by customs or excise delays. All cost associated with importing goods are the responsibility of the customer. Abode will not be liable for any duties, taxes or customs charges placed on the goods at the point of import.
